Particles in life...
Well... I sat in lab with nothing to do, having finisht the weekly assignment, and felt like writing...
I knew I wanted to write, but I didnt know what to write about... As usual, topics eluded me...
I looked up and saw a beam of sunlight streaming into the lab through an open window... In this beam of light I could see the dust particles prancing around... Immediately I was lost...
Have you ever noticed them??
I remember spending so many minutes, on the lazy mornings when you dont feel like getting out of bed (quite a few, actually), staring at these particles illuminated in the sunlight streaming in through my bedroom window...
I used to spend a lot of time, sometimes upto an hour, just staring at these particles... tracing their movements... looking for patterns or animate objects... picking a particle and following its path... watch as it dances around... Sometimes when things got too still, I would exhale in a puff or blow at them, and watch as they ran helter-skelter...
Its oddly relaxing! Seeing these normally invisible dust particles illuminated in a beam of light... dancing around... They seem to be bubbling with joy!
It is simple yet beautiful...
Which is what we expect from life I guess... We hope it is simple yet beautiful... We hope to always be bubbling with joy, exactly like these dust particles!
